Each arm  meas. approx. 7 3/4"L X 3 1/2"H. Features cast iron construction with original iron ferrule. Each arm individually slides into slot in ferrule(see images). This style of compass points is most often associated with The St. Louis Lightning Rod Company(Kretzer Brand) but was also used by MANY other Lightning Rod Companies. This points of compass was designed to fit the tube style rods with a 3/4"D ferrule area. Overall condition very good. NO cracks or breaks. Painted primer at one time. Set screw in ferrule has been replaced and works fine.AUCTION FOR POINTS OF COMPASS & FERRULE ONLY!!
