Description: Oil on board. No visible signatures? The oil dates back to the early 19th century ( 1850-1860). Large impressive mountain landscape with figures. Possible German or Dutch school? Masterly executed and worth of further research.

Condition: Ready to hang. The oil could use a light cleaning, and has few tiny scratches on the surface of the board, due to the old age. Otherwise fine with no holes, tears or missing paint. The original golden gallery frame has minor scratches due to the age.
