Seller: silver-finder ✉️ (67) 0%, Location: Kidderminster, GB, Ships to: WORLDWIDE, Item: 132514339000 Early Georgian Britannia Standard Hanoverian Table Spoon - 1716 London. ~ Fine Georgian Britannia Standard Silver Table or Soup Spoon in the Hanoverian Pattern ~ ~ Assayed in London in 1716, during the reign of George I ~ ~ Made by Henry Clarke ~ This lovely Table Spoon is made in the Britannia Silver Standard,  and is in the classic Tip'd Up Hanoverian Pattern with ribbed stems and rattail terminals.  It is still in very good serviceable condition, measure 7 3/4" (200mm) in length and weighs 55 grams. There are 4 hallmarks on this spoon -   Maker's Mark 'HC' - for Henry Clarke, Britannia, Lion's Head Erased, Date letter 'A' for 1716 London. This spoon is engraved with a contemporary matrimonial or promissory 'N over HD'.
