Here for sale is a sweet early to mid 19th century redware pottery batter pitcher. Has a really nice form with a short squatty shape. Nice chocolate brown glaze with some random darker tints to it. Has a front pouring spout and nice applied handle at the back. Measures 5 1/2 inches tall by 5 3/4 inches across the fat belly middle. Has light top edge rim wear as expected from age and use, otherwise excellent condition. Likely PA in origin. Nice redware piece with a form not often found!!
