Edwardian Silver Plate Two Bottle Preserve Stand by J Dixon & Sons – C. 1905
Fine Silver Plate & Cut Glass two Jar Preserve Stand, by James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield. Rounded stand on ball feet, round handle with bottle supports, two panel cut glass jars with octagon bases & domed faceted lids. J Dixon & Sons Makers mark, Bugle mark, code 2215q.
Condition: Good Antique Condition. Plate polishes to a high sheen showing slight oxidation & cleaner buildup along with light age related surface scratching & wear. Glass is fine quality and heavy, in good fog free condition, believed to be original, tiny nibbling to some edges mainly to bases.
