Description

The outermost layer of the 3-layer fabric is made up of a heavy-duty polymer which affords superior wear protection. With an all-welded design, it makes the Monsoon 3 even tougher. The middle layer consists of 1000D Nylon mesh which is densely woven yet flexible to allow the 1000D Nylon filaments to align in the direction of the stress. The innermost layer of the 3-layer fabric is made from red vinyl for perfect visibility and 100% waterproofness. Unlike hard panniers, the roll top closure does not permanently bend in the case of a crash, keeping your items fully waterproofed. At the front, underneath and at the rear Enduristan have added a high impact plastic to protect the contents of your bags from loose gravel and surprise branches.

Mounting without frames
Monsoon 3 fits many many bikes without luggage frames, thus keeping the bike narrow and the weight close to the centre. Always take care to keep a safe distance to hot parts of the exhaust system and keep Monsoon 3 well out of hot exhaust gases. Enduristan suggest using one or more of their Inferno Heat Shields.

Mounting with frames
If you use pannier frames for a secure mount Enduristan offer a kit (not included), containing two additional ROKstraps designed to make the panniers fit your luggage frames securely.

I can vouch for their strength as I came down on an icy road. Other than some slight stretching in the stitching, they came off brilliantly. I even used one as my suitcase on a trip as it was the right size for what I needed to carry. It was the first bag on the belt due to its size as well, so an unexpected side benefit.
