Exceptional Esterbrook / Conway Stewart Relief No. 1 Fountain Pen Marbled Blue. This a very fine 'Relief' No.1 in blue marbled celluloid and it looks entirely unmarked by use with an unworn imprint. The only sign of age is a couple of specks to the clip plating.
The vast majority of Relief No. 1s, as the entry model in the range, were in black, occasionally mottled red, vulcanite. The coloured celluloids are proportionally very rare.
Although this example could certainly be used, in view of its excellent condition it has to be recommended for collection.
