We bought this fabulous antique wardrobe almost 17 years ago from Peter Smiths Antiques in Sunderland for our baby's nursery. It has been loved ever since but must now make way for a new 'teenager' wardrobe (which is no where near as sturdy or good quality!)We will be very sad to see it go!We seem to remember that it was Ash and Edwardian (or Victorian?).The wood is a beautiful, warm colour.It has 2 doors: on one side there is a hanging rail and a large drawer at the bottom; on the other side are 3 pull out shelves and 3 drawers. The drawers have gorgeous brass handles- please see photos. However the handles on the doors don't look to be original to me?It still has the original key.The wardrobe is in great condition for it's age.Please take a good look at the photos to get a better idea of the style and condition, as they form part of the description. I have seen something very similar for sale on here for £575, so I will start the bidding at £400.
