Designed with a dragon head at one end as a belt hook. Also designed with a hornless dragon climbing on the main body. They seem to be father and son. The superb craftmanship shows the Chinese world well-known artistic skills to a high level. Top quality material. It will be a proud of you! The ancients believed that dragon was the symbol of the supreme auspiciousness, a bridge between man, Heaven and the Deities. They thought that the dragon was able to summon wind and rain, ascend to and descend from Heaven, and produce auspicious signs. The dragon even appeared in astronomy and numerology, and influenced the passing of the imperial power. Hornless dragon refers to Chilong in Chinese character. It is one of the 9 sons of dragon in ancient Chinese folklore. It is valiant. In Chinese literature, it is often used to represent brave and fearless soldiers and fighters.

Condition is   old but  very good, Nicely hand polished.
