A late Edwardian/early George V rare novelty Silver Vesta case, made in the form of a leather football, engraved with seams and stitching. Of flat circular form and spring hinged lid hallmarked Birmingham 1910 by maker James Fenton & Co.
Silver gilt to the interior
In very good condition, the vesta shuts well, hallmarks clear, no Monogram or initials. Shows some signs of wear commensurate of age and use.
Measures 4.2 cm in diameter and weighs 20g
