Attractive smaller type of drum clock.Manufactured in France by CJ&Co around 1890.Still has retailers label inside Pickford & Wright watch & clock makers of Islington London.Nice small size measures 8 inches wide 7.5 inches high 4 inches deep.Case is in the drum clock design in walnut with contrasting ebonised wood.In good condition just very minor marks.Brass bezel with bevel edge glass is good.Ceramic dial has had a chip repair around winder hole which barely notices rest of it is good.Original hands.Movement is 8 day time only in working order with original numbered pendulum and double ended key for fine adjuster.Still has retailers label intact on rear door.Really nice example of a late Victorian clock.
