Absolutely gorgeous – ideal for making into a necklace or earrings.

The hole is drilled front/back, diameter: 2 mm.

This crystal is genuine Swarovski, supplied by an authorised Swarovski dealer.

The ideal bails to match this heart are the sterling silver fluted pinch bail with loop, sterling silver open heart bail, sterling pretty patterned bail, sterling simple bail with ring 14 x 5 mm and the sterling simple rounded bail 11 x 5 mm  that I sell in my eBay shop.

DESIGN IDEAS:

Use STERLING SILVER CORES / INSERTS FOR BEAD HOLES, SIZE 2 MM which can be found in my eBay shop: these look particularly good when inserted into the front hole of the 17mm wild heart pendant. The ideal glue to use with these cores / inserts is G-S Hypo Cement which comes with a precision applicator.

This pendant would look fabulous teamed with Menoni Italian WIRE MESH RIBBON. You will need the 2 or 4 mm sterling silver crimp end clasps that I sell to finish off the necklace. See the instructions below for other ideas.

Use the following simple instructions to make inexpensive but professional-looking finished items of jewellery. Pop the finished item in an organza bag (available in my eBay shop) and you have the perfect gift to give to your family or friends on that special occasion. 

To make a Swarovski heart necklace you will need one 17 mm Swarovski 6240 wild heart pendant, one sterling silver fluted pinch bail with loop, and one necklace chain such as the excellent value sterling silver snake, trace, box or curb chains that I sell in my eBay shop. Gently close the pinch bail over the heart ensuring that the bail is holding the heart securely in place (you may need a pair of pliers to help you with this). Then thread the open chain through the loop at the top of the bail.

To make a pair of Swarovski heart earrings you will need two 12 mm Swarovski 6240 wild heart pendants, two sterling silver fluted pinch bails with ring (which I sell in pairs), a pair of sterling silver flat hook and loop earwires and a pair of pliers (all available in my eBay shop). For each earring, gently close the pinch bail over the heart ensuring that the bail is holding the heart securely in place (use the pliers to help you with this). Carefully prize slightly open the closed loop of the earwire with the pliers and slip the ring of the pinch bail onto it. Close the loop with the pliers.
