A late 19c German bracket clock by Winterhalder and Hoffmeier with a barrelled spring ting tang movement striking the quarters on two gongs. The movement has a rectangular silvered dial and chapter ring with Roman numerals.
It is contained in a mahogany 4 glass case stepped base has block feet. The clock stands 26cm tall.
The movement is complete and runs and strikes as it should. The dial and glass are in undamaged condition, The case shows signs of old woodworm to the base, Some small marks commensurate with age.
