It is standard size for a time only clock at 5.5" tall with handle up.The movement is very clean and was serviced less than a year ago. The adjuster tang is missing at the rear but the clock keeps good time and can still be adjusted at the front with care. (This is also an easy fix for a clock repairer). The dial has a repair at the top and this is more noticeable in the photos. The side panels are in good condition with evidence of minor chips to the edge. The clock comes with a correct key for winding and adjusting (as photo).The movement and case are both numbered 447. The base is marked HA Brevette SDGD. HA is Henri Acier who is listed in directories in 1870 having a shop at Rue Trois-Bornes,15Brevette SDGD is a patent mark. Acier's patent was dated 1867 for 'the improvement of travelling clocks'.
