Late 19th Century Solid Mahogany Four Glass Library Clock By  J.J. Elliot of London Circa 1870. In extremely good condition. 5 glasses in total including the top with thick cut bevel edged glass. In full working order. The photos don't really do it justice as in the flesh it has a lovely warm colour. Library Clocks get their shape from being easily sited within the bookshelves if necessary and most fashionable gentleman had them in their libraries and their design made them run fairly quietly so as not to disturb the concentration. Dimensions: Height approx 25cm Width approx 18.3cm Depth approx 15cm
