This is a stunning quality and heavy Edwardian solid silver salver or waiter tray in nicely chased and engraved design.

It is a good size and weight measuring 26 cms in diamter and standing 3 cms high on 3 scroll feet as shown.

It is made by a good, well renowned maker Richard Martin and Ebenezer Hall know as Martin Hall & Co. It has the sterling silver mark for the Sheffield assay office and the date letter for 1906, on the reverse and each of the feet are hallmarked, as shown.

The salver is in overall good condition and the silver is in excellent order polishing to a very bright shine. To be clear there is a small crack/break on the border work which can be seen in one of the photos. I believe this is due to the design but I want to point this out so that my description is clear. There are a few light marks on the surface, as shown. It is over 100 years old so do not expect a new looking item. In saying that it would look great on any side table or make a fairly unusual gift, which can still be enjoyed today.
