Item:392286552023Grandmother longcase pendulum clock. With Key Full Working Order . Made from solid oak which I believe is later than the mechanism I have been told that the mechanism is approximately 1790 and the case around 1880 I don't know a great deal about it so I cannot dispute it Rings the hour to a bell only Lovely brass chapter face with very nice decorations and very good quality and condition The case is a lovely golden oak and also very good quality and condition has been really well looked after On the face is also Tamrose Litchfield I am unable to find out anything about it It does need new strings for the weights as they have been shortened probably broken at some stage as it runs for 5 days instead of 8 before it's requires winding I'll try to answer any questions but my knowledge is limited. However when setting up the clock it must be level from side to side and back to front for it to work continuously.
