Clock is in full working order striking the quarters on two bells . 2 at first quarter, four at the second and 6 at the third. It will then strike the hour. It runs for approx 7/8 days and keeps good time.The glass dome is undamaged and it stands on a wooden base with the clock raised on a piece of marble surrounded by a red baize insert. A very elegant time piece. The porcelain chapter ring has Roman numerals and markers in blue and as can be seen from the pictures there are two small cracks one between the 6 and 7 and another between the 8 and 9. The hands are blued Steel. The dial is signed Hatton Paris and the movement says the same and has the round stamp Medallion D’Or 1827 Pons. Since this is quite a fragile item I would prefer the buyer to collect. A winding key is provided. The clock is 12 inches (31cm) High and the chapter ring measures 3 1/2Inches (8cm) Diameter.
