Not too sure how to list these next few items but i will try to do so, so that you are enlightened not totally befuddled ok1 I have hundreds of items spread across 50 yrs of collecting, some are used nearly every day whilst others at particular times of the year then others which seem to gather dust until i find them & think 'what the hell is that for!' Todays item is an oddity, i have 6 or 7 similar ones though all are different. Made from yak bone hopefully after it had a hip removed or an amputation! On each side can be seen Japanese Carving plus writing, i have no idea what anything says on it like chinese i never learned the language which is to my shame as i speak Greek, English a little Italian & German, Double Dutch & as some have said 'a load of bollocks' cant please everyone can you! I stupidly cleaned these up using Jif spray so they look sparkly new it even took out some of the 'soot' which i presume was used to highlight the engravings as in scrimshaw but no doubt some clever arse out there will be able to take it back to its ancient state. Oh before i forget, i say this is Japanese & made in Japan but being an honest guy i cant swear to it, its a bit like meeting someone who is just over 1ft tall drinks a lot & craps at the same time you would logically think 'baby' or 'gary glitter' see things can become complicated if you say what you think but cannot verify. So this is for all those arseholes out there who will, whilst sipping their lemonade & eating quiche say 'dont look Japanese to me'? Cant say anymore than i have done so far so if you have any questions the Japanese embassy may be able to help you but i cant. I am trying to work out the costs of sending goods abroad which since we left the EEC (hooray) has created some confusion, however please contact me should you wish to purchase an item for which i have not stated an 'overseas' cost. The small print; Post days are generally within 5 days of payment being received but normally on a Monday as i am once again 'shielding' this time until April? but i am also dependent on my 'helper' & when she can get to me so please don't buy if you cant wait an extra day or two thank you Postage costs are taken from the royal mail web site which for usual 2nd class signed for mail is 4.60, oh yes just for an envelope which is slightly thicker than a standard envelope with a letter inside, I have been taking the extra cost on myself but can not do so anymore, I hope you understand
