A beautiful new pairs of lace bobbins in Tabi wood (from hardwood Italian flooring) - with Dymond wood and thin brass inserts in the shank. Turned by my husband, and spangled by me with glass and gold-tone filigree beads. We make lace bobbins and lace tools in a large variety of wood, and some people have queried where the wood comes from. The majority was bought from an ex-bobbin turner, who retired in the 1980s. As the wood was imported before restrictions came in, it is legal to use the wood. Any other woods come from trees that were felled because of disease or unproductiveness (e.g. old fruit trees), as well as from old furniture. International payments by Paypal only, please.
