Seller: timerunner56 (725) 99.2%, Location: Bournemouth, Dorset, Ships to: Free Local Pickup, Item: 291922373108 Details: Large 19th Century English Double Fusee Drop Dial ClockA top quality 19th century English double fusee drop dial clock. This beautifully made clock comes in a nicely flame veneered and carved wooden case with scroll decoration down each side. The base of the case has a bottom door with a catch, the catch has been put were the lock would have gone which can be replaced and returned to how it was originally. The top fixing rail that sits on top of the back box is missing see pics .case would restore well . Nice 12in unsigned dial and hands all look original. The movement is top quality with nicely shaped plates and pillars while the springs are good. I have not had it running but ticks away without a pendulum attached and strikes well when hands are manually rotated. The bell and pendulum are included in this sale. I think with a good clean and service this clock would run. A very nice original piece that isn't currently running/working so is offered as seen for restoration.
