Founded by Howard Keith, HK Furniture has been the producer of high quality furniture since its inception dating back to 1933. This is a large Kohinoor sofa. The sofa is in very good/excellent condition, having been recently reupholstered in a grey woven fabric. Founded by Howard Keith, HK Furniture has been the producer of high quality furniture since its inception dating back to 1933. Many of the companies iconic works including the Diplomat Sofa and the Kohinoor range have been sold at high end retail establishments such as Heals and Harrods throughout large parts of the twentieth century. This is a large Kohinoor sofa. Its design features a smooth curved upholstered backrest with protruding arms on a solid chrome metal base. There are several of the three seater sofas (175cm width with two double pronged chrome bars) available in varying degrees of condition. This (211cm width with three chrome bars) version is so rare, I cannot even find a picture of one elsewhere online. The sofa is in very good/excellent condition, having been recently reupholstered in a grey woven fabric. The upholstery has no noticeable imperfections and is exceptionally clean. structurally extremely solid. An outstanding piece overall.
