Item:292660262781Large Late 18th Early 19th Century French Boulle Tortoiseshell and Brass Ormolu Clock Bracket. For a Boulle or Cartel Clock. Circa 1810 Most large Boulle clocks of the 17th to mid 19th century were made with a paired up shelf bracket, but as with most of them they have either become separated, lost or damaged and so the ones that do still have their wall bracket carry a higher premium. Please see photos as they form part of the description. The photos don't really do it justice as in the flesh it is much nicer and I apologise for the unavoidable light reflections in the photos. Dimensions: Height approx 17.5cmWidth approx 32.3cmWidth of actual shelf area approx 31.8cmDepth approx 16.6cmDepth if actual shelf area 16.1cm Any queries please call 07731 564008 Please remember as with all Antique and secondhand items, please be your own judge About age, condition and description before purchasing as I am not an expert in such things. Just a collector. I am having a major clearout of several decades of collecting and I shall be selling all sorts of things over the next few months with no particular theme so keep an eye out for my bizarre and not so bizarre items for sale. Any questions or any further photos, please just ask and please, please ask questions before the end of the sale. A bidder recently purchased an item and then moaned about it after the event because he hadn't read the description correctly.Features:8-Day
