 Jewellery / Sewing Box Casket

An early large hinged solid mahogany box. Likely to be mid 19th century and may possibly have once contained a music box.

Of substantial proportions, measuring 46 cm by 23 cm and 18 cm in height.

 Showing years of usage with several significant losses to the woodwork and missing the key escutcheon.      No key

A once magnificent 19th century box that deserves being refreshed and a new life. 

However perfectly useable as it is, should that be preference.
