Large block of brown wax? from a horologists estate sale. No reserve.

Seller: brian_saw (3,296) 100%, Location: Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, Ships to: Worldwide, Item: 202807618150 This auction is for a large block of brown wax? from a horologists estate sale. This was obtained as part of a job lot and is surplus to my requirements. It probably dates to the second half of the 20th century. It doesn’t look like (modern) beeswax and is hard but useable. I’m not sure why this would be part of a repairers collection of resources - unless it is just how cabinet? wax was sold in the distant past. Perhaps someone will know and can send some info. The block is about 20cm in diameter and 5cm thick. It weighs about a kilogram. It may be that this is an opportunity for a clock or furniture restorer to acquire some genuine old wax to be used on a restoration project. The start price is £1 and there is no reserve so perhaps your chance to grab a bargain. This lot is sold with a guaranteed 100% refund of the purchase price if the buyer is not satisfied with the purchase for any reason whatsoever. I am happy to ship this item worldwide except to Russia and Brazil because of the unpredictable nature and delays which occur when shipping to these countries. Bidders should note that the my shipping costs do not include charges for packaging - time or materials. I am happy to combine postage costs if several items are purchased. Please let me know if you are planning to bid on further items and may need to combine shipping costs. Thanks for looking and good luck if you bid.
