Seller: timerunner56 (839) 100%, Location: Bournemouth, Dorset, Ships to: GB & many other countries, Item: 292582720719 Late 18th Or Early 19th French Silk Suspension Striking MovementA very nice hard to find French silk suspension striking movement with a count wheel escapement. The white enamel dial has some damage and had some repairs but the nicely shaped hands are original. The two springs however are good and fully wound and is ticking away. When the hands are manually rotated it strikes well. The back door is there but needs glass, while the front bezel and convex glass are there and close wellThis unsigned movement has some minor surface rust to the steel work and will fit a hole 4.25in in diameter. With a good clean and service I am sure this will work well, but untested so offered as seen for restoration/repair/parts with no return or guarantee.
