vintage 1980 lister liberty showman & Rechargeable battery pack in leather carry case.
Working and tested and in great vintage untouched unrestored collectable condition and as this is 40 plus years old this would be best for a collector or for show but it is all in great working order nonetheless
I have had this assessed by Lister themself and this is what they say about these classic Clippers
The Clipper is the Lo Volt and was the first version of the Liberty and later changed its name to Showman. It was launched in about 1977 and was the first virtual clipper on the market. The battery pack had "D" cell rechargeable batteries and the charger was also built into the battery pack. Heavy but good. It looks like it has been looked after and the interesting thing is that if used today with a Classic Fit Lithium Battery Pack it could still work today and also with todays clipping blades would fit without any issues. even the tension set will work the same.
This is a very rare piece indeed as not many left in use and bound in leather makes it rather special and would make a great edition to any collection or themed equestrian or farm shop
Still in original box it was manufactured and shipped it
