This is for a lovely clean antique desk seal from 1904. It is fashioned from a large and beautifully faceted rock crystal with a sterling silver mount. The rock crystal handle finishes around the top with individual little facets that catch the light as tilted. It carries a full set of English sterling silver hallmarks that date it to Birmingham 1904 on the mount along with the makers initials CM&Co.  I t is in absolute excellent condition with no dings or dents, no holes, splits or cracks to the silver, there are cracks to the crystal and just fleabite chips on the edges, it really does display beautifully. It measures 25mm (1") in diameter on the matrix and it stands 65mm (2.5") tall.
