The 8 day double fusee movement on chains with anchor escapement and striking the hours on a mellow gong with pull repeat and in good working order. The 8 inch dial retains the original paint and is in excellent order and is signed "Bunyan & Gardner" Market Place Manchester and has its original steel hands. The cast brass bezel and thick bevelled glass are in good order. It has both side and back door locks with keys[side door a little fiddly]. The side viewing windows are bevelled glass and are in good order. Lovely colour and patina to the flame mahogany case with restrained carving to the base. Standing 17 inches high[43cm] x 13 ins wide[33cm] x 7 ins deep[18cm] on original bun feet. There are a couple of old veneer cracks to the top but have been filled a long time ago and are usual for a clock of this age and as you can see from the photo's its in very good original condition.
