Striking 8 day mantel clock by Gilbert, with a matching wall bracket, two keys and pendulum, in working order.Backplate is stamped with the Gilbert trademark, "23", and Made by Gilbert Clock Company Winstead, Conn, USA.High quality clock features silvered dial, "slow/fast" fine adjustment, (small key included), convex bevelled glass.I have tested the clock for a few weeks and it works correctly, but has not been serviced. The case has brass feet, and inlaid stringing.Strikes on a gong half-hour and hours.There are a few small dents and scratches/tears on the case but it is mostly in good condition.
