Underfloor Heating World aluminium foil mats are ideal for use in any room including bathrooms and wet areas. The mats are designed to be installed 'floating' beneath laminate, wood & selective LVT & vinyl flooring. The heat mats can be cut and turned to fit into most areas. To achieve the required floor coverage, multiple mats can be installed to cover large areas. The largest individual mat = 0.5m x 24m / 12sqm but using this system multiple mats can be used to cover a larger area.

These 150w Aluminium Foil mats are the easiest to install of all electric heating systems. As they are installed directly beneath the final floor, working conductively under the floor, they are very responsive and efficient.

When fitting the 150w Aluminium Foil underfloor heating, suitable insulation must always be used. They must not be laid directly onto a concrete or wood subfloor. The heating mats must be installed directly on a suitable, minimum 6mm depth insulation. See our other listing in our eBay shop or feel free to ask about suitable insulations we stock. With the correct insulation installed, the heating will be protected under the floor and will increase the response rate and efficiency of the heating.

Please Note: If ordering over 3600w of heating, (18m 2 at 200w/m 2 or 24m 2 at 150w/m 2 and you wish to use only one thermostat you will require a suitable snubber/relay switch to run the heating through. Alternatively, you can purchase a second thermostat and split the heating load between each thermostat. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or discuss with your electrician.
