Lovely 1904 small print of a painting by Gordon Home entitled " The Market Place, Helmsley ", Yorkshire, with separate detailed description of the scene. The illustration was engraved by the Hentschel Colour-type process.  It measures approximately 260mm x 195 mm (10.25" x 7.75"), including borders - actual print size measures  approximately  140 mm x 100mm (5.5" x 4").  Excellent condition for a print that is nearly 120 years old, with just a small mark within the bottom white border (see photograph). Will look superb mounted and framed. Please look closely at photographs I have taken for condition and closer view of scene description. The print has been carefully extracted from a dis-bound and no longer usable book. Very little foxing or marking of page, although some ageing and wear is inevitable. There is no print on the reverse side.   Please note: this is an original print extracted from a dis-bound book and is not a reproduction.  Posting and Packaging: Carefully packaged in a boarded envelope and posted by Royal Mail. Happy to combine postage for multiple items purchased, where possible.
