Moto Guzzi 850cc project - Cafe Racer . Moto Guzzi 850cc which is ideal for a Cafe Racer project. This started life as a 950cc Convert, but a number of years ago the torque converter failed and a 850 T3 engine. gearbox and drive box were fitted. It has sat unused for many years and although can't be confirmed the tax disc attached to the bike is dated 2004. As can be seen it still has the Convert foot boards / controls and long side stand fitted. I have also included T3 type clock console and Tommaselli quick action throttle and some more modern Guzzi switch gear. The other good points also inc brake discs that have over 6 mm thickness, Marzocchi period piggy back shocks. S/S down pipes and fairly rare deep headlamp rim. Early fork legs. Also the front engine bolt is NOT seized. Bad points in particular,apart from general condition, are brake calipers are seized (no surprise) but the both master cylinders move freely. The original metal seat base is very very poor. As registered in September 1978 next year (as I understand it) this will be both road tax and mot exempt. There is a current V5 and also up to date with being Sorned. Any questions please ask, but this is in need of total refurbishment This will be a Cash on Collection item
