Seller: slearmount (400) 100%, Location: Cambridge, Ships to: Free Local Pickup, Item: 283651387112 National Electric (Aquinas Street London) Ebonised Case Master Clock, 1930s. This is a handsome, good condition 1930s or so National Electric (National Time Recorder) Master Clock in an ebonised case. It stands 51" tall, is 17" at its widest and 7" deep. The beautiful silvered dial with subsidiary seconds hand is 9" across. It is complete with a beautiful brass and chrome pendulum and cabinet key. There is a plaque inside the cabinet stamped 'National Time Recorder Co Ltd, Aquinas St, Blackfriars, London SE1). I have not had the clock running myself, but bought from a collector who was known to look after his clocks well and it looks like it should work fine - there is nothing wrong with the clock as far as I can tell apart from a few paint marks to the case (which shoud be fairly easy to clean) and a niced aged patina. I assume the person who buy the clock will have at least a passing interest in Electrical Horology and should know something about these clocks, it will make a fine addition to a collection or look stunning in a vintage setting. I am selling as I have too many clocks at the moment, and am getting some pressure to thin my collection a little (and maybe quietly buy a few other things I am interested in). All in all this is a nice clock, good luck! Brand: National Electric, Age: Antique, Post-1900, Sub-Type: Electric Clock, Type: Wall Clock
