Seller: timerunner56 (715) 99.3%, Location: Bournemouth, Dorset, Ships to: GB & many other countries, Item: 292072727367 Nice Victorian Or Edwardian French Lyre ClockA stunning Victorian or Edwardian French Lyre clock full of brass mounts, including swags and leaves along with beading and topped by a sun burst face, which are all nicely cast and would clean up very well. The bezel is very nice and original complete with faux diamonds around the edge. The dial is top quality with painted swags and flowers, although there is a little bit of damage near No.2 and a mark near the No.10 neither of which isn't too bad and cannot be seen when the bezel is closed. The finely detailed hands are nice and original while the convex glass is thick and bevelled, all in good shape. The movement is good and keeping time and the spring is good and fully wound. The movement has 'JG 1901' stamped on it (date of manufacture or initials of first owner?) along with the numbers '1479'. The rear door is good and has a repair sticker on it while the four feet are present and good. A very stylish clock that is a nice small size measuring 10.5in high x 5in wide x 3.5in deep. A quality made working clock that would benefit from a good clean and service and has retained its original winding key.Happy to answer any questions, either via message or phone ( 07761 432112 ) Terms and ConditionsAll my items are sold for restoration and consequently sold as seen without a guarantee.
