Seller: hoscarcat (317) 100%, Location: London, Ships to: Free Local Pickup, Item: 264136127227 I bought four clocks on eBay about 10 years ago when I was very keen on clocks.i have just sold one and now I’m listing the second which I no longer have room for. It’s a nice bracket clock which I think dates from the reign of William IV or the early years of Queen Victoria, so sometime around 1830 to 1840. But I’m not a clock expert and I could be wrong. Please look at the photos and form your own conclusion. It’s a smallish bracket or mantel clock, just 12 inches high on a maximum of 9 inches wide, so quite a nice size for a modern home. It has a brass dial and a lovely rosewood and brass winder. The key to the lock for the front face door does work but the lock is a bit stiff. The clock keeps good time and has a firm but non-tinny tick. I can deliver with a radius of 80 miles for the cost of the petrol, about £25 (on weekends only) or the buyer can collect from me in North London. Condition: In good working order. Keeps good time. Age related wear and tear to the veneer in parts and a very small missing piece of veneer at the top of the back door.generally in family good condition for its age. Please look carefully at the photographs which show the condition of the clock and the cracks in the veneer, Age: Circa 1830 or 1840, Clock Type: Bracket/mantel
