Description

Item: Up for auction is a nice antique Chinese pewter encased yixing teapot and cover. The yixing teapot and cover encased within pewter, with jade handle, spout and finial of the cover. Exterior engraved with landscape and inscription. A marking underside of the teapot. It measures 6" wide X 3 1/2" high.   

Age:  19thc.

Condition:  Good condition overall but it has few dents, dings and scratches on pewter and few nicks/fleabites on jade handle all consistent with age and use.
