Description : Collage on the inside cover of a vintage / antique book. I sometimes like to use drawing or inject an element of humour in some of my small collages but they are mainly about the colours and composition. Hours can be spend just trying to find the right combination of covers, colours and elements to form these arrangements. Pricing : The price of each piece usually reflects the amount of time spent on it. Even the simplest looking piece may have taken several hours if it requires intricate cutting and measuring of shapes and angle. Of course the purchase price of the original book is also taken into account, and the prices range from £1 to £10, depending on the age, quality and interesting stamps or features on the covers. Please keep in mind this is a one-off original piece and not a print, so the price needs to reflect that. About the Artist: This is my own work. I was the best artist of my age in school and I think my first artwork to be exhibited came at the age of 6. I went on to study art at A-Level and almost embarked on a career in graphic design but took an alternative career path. Now, 30 years later, I have spent the last decade becoming a self-taught pupil once again and hoping to revive a career in the art world.
