This is a excellent telescope for a enthusiastic beginner or someone who wants to move onto a larger and more powerful model. The Orion Skyquest is a very well known and respected make from the USA.  It is large enough and powerful enough to open up the view of the sky but not too difficult to manoeuvre about.It comes in two sections. Firstly the base and then the scope itself. It operates by a hand held computer. Basically you point at 2 known stars and once sighted press enter .The computer then aligns itself to the night sky and then it will help you find any star, galaxy or planet etc you wish to see. You simply move the telescope easily by hand in the directions shown on the computer until you have the object you want to see in view. The telescope comes with 3 separate eyepieces ; Orion Sirius Plossl 10mm, Orion Sirius Plossl 25mm and a Panaview 26mm. These give you a good range of different visions.  Also attached is a smaller "finder scope" to help initially find your sky object. Also included is a comprehensive Instruction booklet and a Computer instruction manual as well. This is a nice powerful telescope which will open up the night sky. Excellent value for the price being asked. It is is good condition and works well.
