Hello, and welcome to our auction for this beautiful Pair of French Louis XVI Style gold chairs. These chairs are wonderfully detailed and the backrests depicting a violin and a cornucopia, all in great condition. With a distressed gold and red painted finish, yellow upholstered seats, far more lovely than the photos can show.

Points of condition to note:

Both chair seat pads have some marks to the fabric present (no tears or rips). Natural use marks on the frame, both are solid, with no movement.

The left side backrest has a split in the wood( as shown in photo 15) , not affecting its structure.

This pair are in solid condition, and have been freshly cleaned and ready to use. Please study the photos as they are an important part of the description, and please email any questions!
