For sale is my C2 - 3.4 – 996 – 911 Current Mileage is 113k I like many had researched the horror stories about IMS bearing issues and bore scoring and arrived at this model, being the early dual row IMS with minimal failure compared to the later, single row version that far more prevalent. This also influenced my decision away from the 3.6 which had the Nikasil lined cylinders that suffered higher failure rate of bore scoring, this car in my opinion was the sweet spot. this car has main dealer service history, relatively low miles and most importantly, the way it drove and how quiet and smooth the engine was. There was a slight draw back in that it was a CAT C car on 9/12/2014 however at this time, the car would have required a DVLA inspection to confirm the quality of the repair. When looking for this I wanted a pure drivers car so opted for the non sun-roof C2 manual It has several nice extras for a car of this year • White dial upgrade • Silver interior trim to grilles etc • Aluminium Gear shift/hand brake • Electric windows • Electric/memory seats • Alcantara headlining • Air conditioning • Electric mirrors • Rear wiper • Li-Tronic Xenon headlights Throughout its life the following has been added • 19” lobster claw wheels from the 997 • Turbo style front bumper • Short shift transmission conversion • Spoiler from 997 • Alpine touch screen upgraded stereo/speaker system with a custom parcel shelf with Alpine 6”x9” speakers inc Alpine updated fronts. A new panel to move the climate panel to the bottom has been added to give a factory feel. Car has a comprehensive history and although not fully stamped, there are other invoices that support a well looked after vehicle. I have last week undertaken a full-service using Mobil 1 and premium parts and changed the brake pads and sensors all round from Brembo. It also has had a new water pump fitted last year as I notice it was weeping slightly. Any thing this car wanted it has got. Body work is amazing considering the age. It is now on a private plate which will be included in the sale and the big bonus is that this car is ULEZ compliant.
