It has large amounts of manganese deposits from being buried for so long. The sculpture is genuine and was made some time between 200 BC - 200 AD. It measures approximately 7 inches long and 5-1/2 inches in height. The vessel is in good condition although there some chip on the spout and both ears where broken but professionally restored.
