Seller: wundagore (4,616) 100%, Location: Bothell, Washington, Ships to: US & many other countries, Item: 283539049672 This is a 5ft long copy of the codex, "Lienzo de Tlaxcalla", done on bark paper with wood end panels. The work depicts the contact of the Spaniards with the ancient Mexicans in five of the towns in eastern Mexico. I found it at the estate sale of a wealthy family in Bellevue, Washington. The heirs knew nothing about it...just "one of Gramps things". I believe it is a copy made in the mid 20th century, probably by a scholar studying Mexican prehistory. The pages are 12" by 11" and accordian out to about 5ft long. Good condition. Email questions. Condition: GOOD...SEE PICS AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION, Region of Origin: Mexico
