Deep grooved Nutting Stone ,Hardstone Tool,Relic,Artifact. This is a nice authentic deep cupped nutting stone, hardstone tool  from Massac County IL. A  nice example and it sits level,and displays good. This was found by my friend and I recently bought several of his grinding bowls,pestles,nutting stones. And some other various game stones and artifacts from him. All of which are personal finds of his from the past 25 years.And are from private properties in mostly Massac,Alexander, and Palaski Counties in Southern IL. Which border both the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers and the confluence, and conjunction of both to the south. As well as the Cache River which connects the two about 20 or 30 miles north of the confluence. One of the grinding bowls I will be offering soon from this collection is by far the best I've ever seen.I'm not sure of what price to set it yet? I've been told by more than one person that it should be no less than $1000 minimum price?. Anyway if you collect authentic hardstone tools, grinding bowls, pestles,etc...watch for it to be listed soon. It is very large and deep cupped, also double sided, with nutting and other smaller grooves along side the main cupped groves on both sides. It also sits flat both sides and stands up straight and level two ways. My guess is that it is a multi generational item that was passed down through many generations.
