Hi, we are Dave and Damian, father and son stick Insect keepers and breeders. We have many years of experience between us with many different species and types, so you may buy from us with confidence. Ramulus Artemis are a lovely easy species to look after and require little In the form of Interaction unless desired. They are very docile and friendly and will happily allow themselves to be handled, though they can sometimes be shy and a little timid. As an all female species the eggs are laid parthenogenically, and the Insects will simply drop them to the floor of their container. Twigs or small branches will assist with the shedding of skins, and a tall ventilated container (as opposed to a glass tank) works best for them. They eat common bramble. This listing Is for sixty (we always add a few more) fertile eggs, laid by our adult females In the last couple of months. The eggs are simple to care for, we have hatching pots with air vents, but too small for the newly hatched nymphs to escape from. We dont advise you use an air-tight hatching pot with no air holes. Keep the eggs separate from the substrate, we use folded kitchen roll Instead of substrate or sand, and milk container lids make perfect egg holders. Remove the eggs In the lid from the pot and mist the kitchen roll daily. We strongly advise against misting the eggs directly as this can cause mould which will spread and the eggs will not hatch. The misting causes humidity which allows the Insect to escape clear of the egg, if conditions are too dry, the egg will stick to the last leg to emerge and the Insect will have to drag it around with them until it breaks free or they lose that leg. Hatching times vary a great deal from a few weeks to several months, and obviously they dont all hatch at the same time. Keep the hatching pot away from direct sunlight and excessive heat or cold. A warm darkish place like an airing cupboard Is perfect and will speed up hatching times, especially In winter. Sixty eggs are offered here, but we always add a few extras. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or require further Information. We only ship to UK mainland addresses. We only accept Paypal as a payment option. Postage and packaging Is free. We are happy to sort out any Issues to avoid negativity of any kind. Eggs/Insects are shipped next working day.
