Suitable oak case available but not included! 10 inch dial oak case also available / separately listed; please contact me. A period weight is available separately but not included. It just needs an hour strike bell! Stand / nut is there. A rare and Interesting early 3-train, 30 hour verge pendulum movement quarter striking on a nest of six bells. The 10" square brass dial signed by the maker George Tyler, London on the brass chapter ring, enclosing a matted centre with subsidiary seconds dial signed Kidgell, Sarum over a calendar aperture (indicating either the owner or resellers name). Dial features include seconds and calendar sub dials and a silent / strike lever. *George Tyler was recorded working at Popeshead Alley, London (1692-1723) No major repairs, the movement / dial / hands are completely original including escapement. The movement runs well and strikes properly. No major wear. The 1/4 striking musical is complete, runs but needs adjustment and set up. NO WARRANTY OFFERED OR IMPLIED HOWEVER.
