This is a beautiful small Swiss made Swiza table or desk alarm clock made in 1959 with a 8 day mechanical movement.
The upper lid can be turned away; there under is the very clean white dial. This Swiza is in very good shape; look at the photo's!
Around the dial and on the edge of the lid is the Latin text:
"Tarda fluit pigris velox operantibus hora" which means in English: "hour fast and slow flows lazy workers".
Also the year of production is on the lid: MCMLIX (=1959)
The case of this small Swiza is made of metal; the diameter is 59,5mm, the height is 34mm and the weight is 266 grams.
