SANDBERG PRECISION BASS, NOT FENDER. SUPERB HAND BUILT GERMAN BASS. VGC. Here we have a superb Sandberg California series bass, handmade in Germany. This beauty is modelled on the classic Fender Precision but is MUCH better. Two band active electronics (with passive option to get you out of problems if your battery fails mid-gig!) with two super powerful pickups: Musicman style humbucker in bridge position, P-Bass split coil in the neck position. Alder body, with one piece tinted maple neck and rosewood fretboard. Six bolt neck, three ply pickguard (BWB), quality tuners, heavy duty Sandberg bridge (giving great sustain). This beauty is the 'True to Fender Shape' model that was originally named the PM4, but was rechristened the VM4 a few months back when Sandberg introduced their own 'Not True To Fender Shape'. Superb build quality. Produces a wide range of massive sounds! Excellent condition. No dings or scratches whatsoever, just a few light pick marks on the pickguard. Comes with original Sandberg padded gig bag. These basses currently cost circa £1400 new (see Bass Direct website) and have a 7 month waiting list! Grab yourself a bargain.
