ZF type aluminium PAS tank designed for race/rally/track cars. Designed to upgrade the standard plastic tank found in numerous BMW/MINI/Mercedes/Land Rover/Range Rover/Jaguar vehicles. This tank is designed to replace the plastic reservoirs that have straight push on fittings, pointing directly downwards. Please see our other listing for the type with angled fittings. Fabricated and welded in our own Hereford workshop from raw materials sourced in the U.K. All aluminium products are pressure tested and ready to fit. Specifications are as follows:- Motorsport filler neck and cap 12.7mm inlet (bottom) 16mm outlet (bottom) 165mm height Baffled 300g We race a pair of BMW E87 cars in both national and European endurance events, one with a 3L diesel the other with the S85 V10 engine and were searching for a solution to replace the standard plastic PAS tank. This new item is both stronger than the plastic item and is baffled and will swirl the fluid before delivering it back to the pump. The tank is designed to fit the standard mounting bracket, please see the last picture. The bracket is not included. Please take note, our tanks have the correct hose retention bead required on the pipes, and the formed lid and base needed to withstand repeated use.
