Part of the paper is a little wavy, most likely from humidity over the years. Please see photos for close-up details as they are a major part of my description. The map itself measures approximately 15” x 17”. Folded as issued. Removed from an 1837 bound volume of HR Congressional Public Survey Documents Book. In very nice antique condition. Would make a wonderful gift. Quite scarce. Part of the paper is a little wavy, most likely from humidity over the years. In no way is the rag paper otherwise affected and is still as strong as it was in 1837 and looks great. Some yellowing due to age. Thank you for looking.
